When the twist coefficient is large, the inner yarn fibers are dense and the interfiber gap decreases, making the density of the yarn increase, while the diameter decreases. When the twist coefficient increases to a certain extent, the compressibility of the yarn is reduced, and the density and diameter do not change much, but the fiber can be slightly thicker due to the excessive tilt of the fiber.
Strong influence on the yarn. For single yarn, when the twist coefficient is small, the strength of the yarn increases with the twist coefficient increases, but when the twist coefficient increases to a critical value, and then increase the twist coefficient, the yarn strength decreases instead. Influence on the elongation of the yarn fracture. When the twist coefficient of the yarn is large, the fiber tilt angle is larger, the luster is poor, and the feel is hard.
